Controlled Automation Drillline - This drillline has three drill units that each move in three directions.

The DRL-344 is the newest product in our line. We've pulled out all stops to create the fastest, most accurate drill on the market. The design innovations we have included in this machine will quickly move it to the top of your "must have" list. Each of the three drill spindles can move in three directions - feed, gage, and length. As with all of our machinery, its PC based control system gives you an economical and seamless interface with your office programming system.

Key Benefits

Approximately 24" linear movement in spindles. That's right, we move the spindles down the length of the material similar to the old Hill drills. If you've ever seen a set of conveyors try to position a 40,000 lb. beam to within 1/32 you can see what a major innovation this is. The drills spend more time drilling and less time waiting for the conveyors to position and the clamps to engage. More holes per hour means more profit per job!
Speed - 0 to 180 Feet per Minute
We use the same high speed servo motors as on our beamline to allow our conveyor system the highest amount of control at high speeds. Our powered side clamps allow us to drive the material through our machine, rather than simply conveying it.
Accuracy - + or - 1/32 electronically. Precision encoders mounted throughout the machine allows us to position both length and gage within any shop's tolerance. Sophisticated servo and valve positioning software provide accurate and smooth positioning.
Graphic part programming. We were the first and best with graphical part programming. Keep an eye out for our newest versions of part programming software!
Multi-axis positioning - you need to watch one of these machines run to believe it. All spindles and the conveyors position simultaneously. Add it up, that's 7 axes of movement. No waiting with this machine!

Great Options

Inline Marker System - Our Daisy-Wheel type marking system can stamp any alpha-numeric string onto the material as it is being processed. Just one less thing that will have to be done by hand.
CAD interface option - We can interface with many of today's most popular structural CAD packages. We can also provide file formats to you or your CAD vendor so you can output files straight from your system to ours. We can even convert some of your parts from your old machinery software.
Metric/Decimal inch part programming - Have a metric job? Get your drawings in decimal inch? We can create our parts in both metric and decimal inch format.
