2.) WHAT IS MAIN ELECTRIC SUPPLY VOLTAGE: 230V, 460V, 575V? (CHECK VOLTAGE COMING INTO MACHINE.)
3.) HAS A NEW OR REBUILT HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT BEEN PURCHASED TO GO WITH YOUR RETROFIT? IF SO, DISREGARD THE REST OF THE QUESTIONS IN THIS SECTION.
4.) ARE THE PUMPS AND ELECTRIC MOTOR MOUNTED UNDERNEATH, OR TO THE SIDE OF THE HYDRAULIC OIL TANK?
5.) DOES THE UNIT HAVE AN OIL COOLER? IF SO, GET ALL NAMEPLATE DATA FROM THE COOLER AND ITS FAN MOTOR.

7.) ARE THE PUNCH CYLINDER SOLENOID VALVES ALL HELD TOGETHER WITH TIE BOLTS? (THESE ARE LONG BOLTS THAT CONNECT A SERIES OF SOLENOID VALVES) THIS TYPE OF DESIGN IS OUT DATED AND MUST BE REPLACED WITH A NEW OR REBUILT H.P.U.
8.) HOW FAR IS THE H.P.U. MOUNTED FROM THE BACK OF THE WEB PUNCH FRAME? WE NEED TO KNOW THESE DIMENSIONS IN ORDER TO REINSTALL WITH PROPER HOSE LENGTHS.
9.) DOES THE UNIT HAVE AN OIL HEATER? (TO DETERMINE, LOOK FOR HEATING ELEMENT AND THERMOSTAT)
10.)CONDITION OF HOSES:
ARE THERE ANY LEAKS?
IS THE UNDERLYING METAL SHOWING ANYWHERE ON THE HOSES?
OVERALL CONDITION OF HOSES?
11.) WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF THE H.P.U. ELECTRIC MOTOR ? (IF POSSIBLE, CHECK TO SEE IF BRUSHES ARE WORN.)
LIST ANY OTHER OBSERVATIONS THAT MAY BE HELPFUL.
12.) ARE THERE ANY LEAKS IN THE H.P.U VALVES? IF SO, VALVES WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.
13.) DOES UNIT BUILD 5,000 PSI FOR PUNCHING WHEN HIGH PRESSURE VALVE IS OPERATED? THIS MAY INDICATE A BAD COMPONENT OR COMPONENTS ON THE H.P.U.
14.) HYDRAULIC OIL CONDITION: DIRTY OIL CAN CAUSE THE PUMP OR OTHER H.P.U. COMPONENTS TO GO BAD.
