Machine Upgrades

We can take your old outdated machine
controller and
breathe new life into it. By upgrading your controller with our newest WinCAd
and BADmachine software, you gain a whole new level of control over your part
programming and machine operation. All new graphical interfaces allow you to
actually see the parts being ran by the machine. Added to that are a host of
graphically driven diagnostics and troubleshooting tools that allow you to put
your machine through a battery of tests to ensure proper functioning and
operation of all machine components. Through the art of Distributed
Processing, the amount of physical cabling required is reduced significantly.
What once required bulky electrical panels and loads of cables is now achieved
by a single Ethernet cable. Another great advantage of our upgrades is the
ability to use Windows Networking over Ethernet. You can
create a part in your office directly on the machines drive or transfer it across
your computer network.
Basic Upgrade Procedure
- Existing controls are replaced with top of the line
computer system and software to completely automate your machine.
- Machine will be rewired with Controlled Automation's
*Distributed Processing components.
- Complete factory maintenance is performed on the machine
replacing any worn or broken parts.
- After a visual Inspection, a list of any other components
that will need replacements or repairs is provided to the customer.
* Distributed processing is a state in which our software
utilizes Embedded Windows CE controller boards to operate the machines
components in real time. Drastically cutting down the amount of physical
wiring necessary for the machine to function and eliminating the need for some
high system overhead software.
Training
Controlled Automation will provide detailed help files and
reference literature as well as online support documentation to assist with
any questions you may have about your new upgrade. The more that is learned about the
new software, the better you can maintain and operate the machine.
